The Secrets of Blogging Tag

1. When did you start blogging and why?
I started blogging in the end of summer 2014, I don't know the exact day, because I erased a few post at the very start. My first post now was published in the end of august, so that's what I will consider for my blog's birthday. I started because I was following a lot of bloggers, if I remember correctly they were mostly Slovenian, I do remember Tatjana from Taya - My little beauty blog. I even remember when I found her blog I was checking every day if she posted something, because I really liked it. I even remember I was checking on some forums for makeup products reviews, even though I didn't wear much makeup back then. Basically, I loved the idea to do something on my own, so I started a blog and I have never regretted it.

2. How many people in "real life" know about your blog?
Not much. My mother and brother knew almost since the beginning, because they saw me taking pictures. My mother even recommended to me to start a blog, when I already had it. After almost a year of blogging, I told my boyfriend and he was very impressed actually, he supports me. He even sometimes buys me things and says that is for my blog, and he helps me by buying some decoration for background for my photos :). Not long ago I told my father, I had to explain to him a couple of times what a blog even is, but I don't think he really gets it haha.

3. What are your favourite posts to read?
My favourite are probably posts about hair care, favourites, empties, drugstore makeup...

4. List a blog you have discovered recently.
Not long ago I have discovered Neža from Rose Touch blog (she writes in Slovenian language) and Nina from LunxxChi (she writes in Slovenian and English). They both have a wonderful blog, that I like to read.

5. Which posts are you most proud of?
Most recent ones, because I'm trying so hard with photos, but I take my pictures with Samsung Galaxy Express, which is very old. I do plan to get a better phone in the next two-three months, so I can take better pictures.

6. What advice would you give to future bloggers?
Blog for yourself, not for free products or for the money. When I first started my blog I didn't even know bloggers get free products. I guess, when I've been reading other blogs before I never saw if they got the product for free or not, but some bloggers don't even state that in the post. If you're blogging, because you love doing it, it will show on your blog and other people will much rather comment on the post or even click on the post.
Have big pictures. I like when a blog has big pictures, so I can clearly see the product and I don't have to click on the actual picture.
If you're reviewing lipsticks, foundation, concealers... do some swatches. If you're shy about showing your face to the internet (like I am sometimes), do them at least on your arm. If you have similar shades try to compare them (I don't usually compare because I don't own much makeup).
Comment back on your comments. I do it always, except if I really don't know what to reply, but that happens rarely.

Catrice Bold Softness LE Nail Polish in C01 VoluMINTous

When I first saw Bold Softness LE by Catrice on some swatches on Instagram I fell in love with two nail polishes, C01 VoluMINTous and C03 Soft PINKmentation. First one is a mint color, so of course, I wanted to have it, and the second one is apricot or peachy color. When I got to Müller to pick up these two, they were all already gone, except for the mint one.

I don't like this polish at all. For the effect you can see on the picture bellow, I had to use four coats. The polish has a matt finish. Because of that and because of all the coats it starts to chip really fast, it doesn't last even a day. I'm really disappointed, I'm glad that the other one was already gone. But overall it is a nice minty color.

Spring Wishlist (Haircare, Skincare)

I haven't done a wishlist for a long time. I plan to go shopping this weekend, so I made a list of some products that I want to get, although you can't get all of them in Slovenia. Keep in mind, this is just a wishlist, I won't buy everything from it. This time I only did haircare and skincare products, maybe I will do a separate post for makeup too.

1. Batiste Dry Shampoo Dark & Deep Brown
2. Batiste Dry Shampoo Cherry
Except Balea's dry shampoo (that I didn't really like) I haven't owned any other one. I want to try Batiste, because everyone keeps talking about how great they are. I wash my hair two-three times a week and honestly sometimes I come home very late and the last thing I want to do is wash my hair. It is a little bit pricey but if it's good that's not really a problem.

3. Afrodita Cosmetics Argan Oil
I think this came out just recently. I have straight, but very dry hair, especially the ends, so I have to take good care for it. I have been loving Gliss Kur Hair Repair for as long as I can remember and it is great, but I feel that I need something a little more nourishing.

4. Healthy Sexy Hair Leave-In Conditioner
Mateja from Mateja's Beauty Blog talked about this leave-in conditioner here and also mentioned it a couple of times on her blog. I really like Mateja's blog, especially because she posts a lot of hair related things, which are my favourite to read. She really likes this product and I trust her, so I think I will order this if the next two things, that I'm going to mention don't work for me.

5. Balea Oil Repair Haarol
I have seen a lot of good reviews on this hair oil. It is also very affordable (around 4€, I think).

6. Dove Quench Absolute Supreme Creme Serum
Again, Mateja from Mateja's Beauty Blog talked about this serum and she says it tames the frizz, so I will have to try it.

7. Yummy Darkest Blood Orange Shower Gel
8. Yummy Sweet Black Cherry Shower Gel
9. The Scent Manufacture Shower Gel Sugar Apple
10. Balea Duschgel Cool Blossom
11. Balea Dusche & Creme Hibiskus & Nektarine
I won't talk about every single shower gel I have on my wishlist. I will just mention why they are on my WL. I love sweet scented shower gels (especially orange scented ones), I like how my whole bathroom smells after I use them. I haven't smelled any of this, but when I see them, I instantly think that they smell amazing.

12. Ebelin Konjac Gesichtspflege-Schwamm
Konjac sponges have been very popular a couple of months ago, but they didn't really catch my attention back then. Now, Ebelin released it's own konjac sponge, that Slovenian bloggers already talked about and they like it, so I thought I would try it too.

13. Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Multi-Purpose Dry Oil
This is probably my favourite thing in the whole year 2016. I ordered some samples in the end of 2015, because of good reviews this dry oil has. When I first used it I haven't really notice a difference, but then I started to use it every second day with Balea Q-10 Night Cream (sample size that I got it Balea's advent calendar). I noticed I huge difference. My skin is combination with oily, but in the winter I get very dry skin. This made my skin so moisturized and my skin feels so soft. I have had the sample size for two months, so around 20€ for 50ml isn't a lot for such a good product. It is a multi-purpose oil, you can also use it on your body or hair, but I didn't because I didn't want to use it up (when I really like something I don't want to use it up and I save it like crazy).

14. Afrodita Cosmetics Cleansing Gel
I have used Afrodita's Clean Phase Cleansing Foam for years. I mostly use it for removing make-up, it works great for that. Besides this I use Balea Erfrischendes Washgel, which I love too, but I thought I will try this one too.

15. Vichy Aqualia Thermal
16. Vichy Aqualia Thermal Serum
I mentioned I have very dry skin and this line seems to be excellent for it. I have read some reviews on MakeupAlley and also some some fellow beauty bloggers AjdaNika and Katja (last two posts in slovene) talked about it on their blog.

What's on your wish list?

Jeans have consistently adapted to the contemporary movements over the past 50 years and have therefore become one of the social must-haves.
