Recently, I cleaned out my beauty stash. I got rid of some products that I had for years but I didn't use and also some that are not that old. There was quite a lot of products, so I thought, why not do a declutter post and do some quick reviews of the products with explanations why I choose to give them away. I already have two similar posts from two years ago here and here.
Essence Single Eyeshadows
Shades 02 shameless, 05 granny pants, 07 funda(mental), 03 bleah
I did a whole post about these shadows. I mentioned in the post that some shadows are not the best quality, so I'm giving four shades away. They are all matte shades that don't perform so well and I know I won't use them.
Avon Mark Big & Phenomenal Volume Mascara
This is probably the worst mascara I have ever tried. It's very wet and I can feel it on my eyes throughout the whole day because it doesn't dry down. It feels sticky and of course, because it doesn't dry down, it does smudge. Review here.
Max Factor 2000 Calorie Mascara
This mascara, on the other hand, was great. I loved it, I would even compare it to my favourite Lash Sensational from Maybelline. I was so sad when I realized it makes my eyes burn, which mascaras don't normally do on me, so I'm throwing it away. Review here.
Essence Make Me Brow Eyebrow Gel Mascara
I have a darker shade of this eyebrow mascara and I do like it, this one is just too light for my brows. I don't know why I bought it, probably to get used to using something for my brows and I thought it would be better to start with a lighter shade.
Essence Lash & Brow Gel Mascara
This is empty. I love using these for taming my baby hair and I go through quite a lot of these throughout the year.
Essence The Eyebrow Pen
I couldn't get this eyebrow pen to work. It wasn't pigmented enough but if I pressed down harder, the strokes didn't look nice. More here.
L.O.V Luxurious Eyeshadow Palette 720 Devoted to Metallic
I really liked this palette. The texture of the shadows is buttery soft and well pigmented. The shades are stunning but because they are all shimmery I didn't use the palette much. Now, when I look at the photos in my review, I want to keep it, especially for that golden and bronze shade but I won't. If I didn't wear it for the longest time, I just won't wear it any time soon probably.
Revolution Flawless 4 Eyeshadow Palette
Again, nice shades (still, maybe a bit too pink toned). As far as I remember, the quality is okay but I just don't use it, so I'm giving it away to someone that will use it more. Review with swatches here.
