Testing Avon Mark Products

Testing Avon Mark Products

In February I was invited to the Avon blogger event, where they presented us their new line called Mark. I also got some goodies there. I already showed you the nail polish from the Mark line here. I wanted to write about some other Mark products for some time now, but I just didn't have time. So, today I'm going to share with you, which products impressed me and which didn't.

Avon Mark SpectraLash Mascara

I must say I really enjoy using this mascara. First, does the system 1, 2, 3 work? I would say yes. I don't really notice the difference between 1 and 2, but between 1 and 3 there is a difference. I feel like 1 gives really really natural looking lashes and with 3 you can archive something more. I mostly used it at 3. It's quite wet at the beginning, sometimes I get a feeling if I apply too much, that it would clump my lashes together but it doesn't. It gives my lashes some volume, it separates them well, but I wouldn't say it really lengthens them. When it dries it's so lightweight, I totally forgot that I had mascara on. I also noticed one interesting thing, when I remove it, there is not much product on the cotton pad like I applied just one thin layer of the mascara or the mascara just disappeared from my lashes, it's a bit weird. Otherwise, I have used it on these hot days we are having now and it didn't smudge.

Avon Mark Magix Face Primer

You can see how it looks on the swatches bellow. It is white and quite thick. I really like how it smells, just like sunscreens, it reminds me on summer. Keep in mind that this is the first proper primer I tried, so I can't compare it to any other. I don't really have big pores, but it does fill them up, it smooths the skin and the foundation applies smoother. At first, it didn't impress me, but I'm glad I gave it another shot. I have a feeling it kept my oily skin under control for a couple of hours. I like it, but I'm not sure I will use it much, it's just another step in my makeup routine that I don't think I really need on daily basis.

Avon Mark Plump It Lip Gloss

Clear product with tiny silver glitter. I don't use lip glosses much, but I feel this one is quite sticky. It does give you that tingly and shiny effect. Just as any other normal lip gloss, it won't last long on your lips. Also, the scent is not really nice, it has sort of a minty chemical scent.

Avon Mark Glossy Tube Lip Gloss Sugar Shine

An old school packaging, it's easy to squeeze the product out. I like the scent, it's very sugary and sweet. It's a little sticky, but it's more confortable when you put it on the lips than the Plump it lip gloss. It's almost invisible, it mostly gives the shine to the lips.

Testing Avon Mark Products Swatches

Overall, I will probably use the mascara a lot, it's my favourite. I will also use the primer on special occasions, or when I won't feel lazy. The lip glosses are nice, but they are just not for me.

Thank you for reading!
