New In #39

Another little haul. You will find some newer makeup releases and some other beauty products that were on my wishlist for a long time. In this post, there are mostly makeup products but you will also find a few haircare and skincare items.

A Package from Essence and Catrice*
I already reviewed most of the products, the only two reviews missing are for the Essence Bye Bye Panda Eyes Mascara (I tried it a couple of times and I like it) and the Nude Edition Eyeshadow Palette that I haven't tried yet. You can see a review of the Disney palettes here, Catrice Matt Pro Ink Liquid Lipsticks here and Essence Stay 8h Matte Liquid Lipstick here.

Eveline Cosmetics 8in1 Total Action Intensive Nail Conditioner
Because Microcell 2000 wasn't working for me I decided to get this one from Eveline. I have heard only rave reviews about it. I'm currently testing it. I follow the rules: on the first day first coat, on the second day second coat, on the third day, you should remove everything and repeat the process. I can't say much about how it works for now but I will update you.

Mixa Cica-Cream
This saved my skin a couple of weeks back. Just when the weather started to get warmer my skin got so dry like never before. I have atopic dermatitis and the skin on my eyelids got so rough and dry to the touch, it was itchy and I just didn't know what to do. I remembered I had this Mixa cream because I saw it on Mateja's blog and I decided to try it. A couple of times a day I applied a heavy coat on my skin and after a couple of days, my skin was all better. Even now, a few weeks later it's still good, I try to apply the cream every three-four days and it's working for now.

Healthy Sexy Hair Tri-Wheat Leave-in Conditioner
I had this on my WL for so long, I found a wishlist post from 2016 where I featured it. I got a small size because that's all they had on Notino. I only used it once, I did like it, but for now, I can't really say more.

Tigi Bed Hair Foxy Curls Contour Cream
Lately, I have been experimenting with overnight braids and I wanted something that would define and hold a curl/wave. I've read that I should put this product on wet/damp hair and I did it but I didn't see any difference in my waves, nothing. I have seen so many good reviews of it, so I don't know if I'm using it wrong. To be fair, I only tried it twice, so I still need to test it more.

Avon Planet Spa The Ayurveda Ritual Soothe & Balance Body Butter*
This is one of those thicker Avon's body butter formulas that I love. They feel nourishing but are not heavy on the skin and sink in fast. The scent is interesting, warm and a bit spicy, it also lingers for a while. Turmeric is apparently really good for everything, also for the skin, it's anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and much more.

Avon True Matte Legend Lipstick Flawless*
I love the packaging and the shape of the lipstick but I love the shade even more. It's my kind of darker rose. The formula is amazing, just like always with Avon. This one definitely deserves its own post.

Revolution Blusher Reloaded Baked Peach
I only tried this one once but it's very pigmented, you have to be careful when applying it. But it does blend well and looks gorgeous. The only thing, the packaging looks nice but it's quite bulky and cheap feeling.

Revolution Bronzer Reloaded Take a Vacation
I saw this product on Kathleen Lights' youtube channel when she raved about it, so I ordered the same shade. I have to say I love it. I haven't been so impressed with a bronzer for a long time. The shade Take a Vacation is perfect for my skin tone, it gives some warmth to my skin and it just makes it look like I have a natural sun-kissed look.

L.O.V BLUSHment Blurring Blush No.30 Beautiful Minds Empower Other
I have seen a lot of good reviews about these L.O.V blushes and this shade looked gorgeous. I tried it a few times and the formula is just amazing. It's not too pigmented, it just blends into the skin and gives a nice blushed look, I love it.

Artdeco Eyebrow Powder 5 Medium
I love the packaging of this brow powder, that's what I wanted, I don't want a huge palette that would take up half of my drawer. One downside - I dropped it and it instantly broke, so now I don't have a lid for it. I did see that you can get a box for two brow shades, so I may get that, even though the box costs more than the product. I also need to get another shade because this one is a tad too warm. I wanted to get one slightly darker and ashier tone but then I saw that everybody with dark hair uses 5 Medium and I changed my mind and got this one.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation 53 Light Beige
Another thing that was on my WL for years is this Healthy Mix Serum from Bourjois. I always eyed it but I always had a few foundations that I was already using and didn't really need more. Plus, this is expensive. I finally got it and I'm happy that I did, it's just what I like. It's a very light texture with light coverage.

A Package from Notino*
I already talked about all of the products in the Notino post. A little update: I already used up half of the serum and my skin likes it, I didn't get any breakouts and my skin feels nourished. Another product that I really like is the Foreo Luna Play. It's just fascinating how my skin feels baby soft after I've used it.

CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion AM SPF25
Again, a product that I have heard so much about, especially for sensitive skin. At least, I have heard about the PM version. I knew there were two versions and I knew that the PM is supposedly better but I still ordered AM version because I can't read properly apparently. I didn't try it yet though.

Oriflame The One Everlasting Sync Foundation
I just got this in the mail so I haven't tested it yet. It's supposed to "sync" with your skin and the environment. Oriflame says it controls exes oil and sweat, it contains SPF 30 and UVA protection. Oriflame also has a guide where you answer a few questions and you can find out which shade is supposed to suit your skin tone.

Remington Volume & Curl Airstyler
Lately, I have really been researching a lot about these air styling brushes and I didn't know if I should really pay up to 70-80€ for something that I don't know how it works or if it will even work on my stubborn hair. My first choice would probably be the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer but I got a chance to order from Notino so I went with Remington because it's just a great brand for hair products. I have used it once so far and I did like it. I have straight hair but sometimes it's weird and I get a slight wave in the front section. Also, it dries pretty frizzy. This airstyler eliminated the frizz and made my hair straight almost like with a hair straightener. I'm impressed, I like it.

Thank you for reading!

  1. Revolution bronzer mi je zanimiv. Sicer nisem ravno za te s sijajem, ampak tale mi pa deluje zanimivo. :)

LOV blushi so res odlični.

Dobra kombinaciija kokosa in kurkume.
