Empties #24 (Face Products)

I have so many empty products that I decided to divide them into categories, this post is dedicated to face products and as I was writing it, I realized it could also be dedicated to Avon because most of the products are from them.

Avon True Ageless Overnight Gel and Day Cream SPF30
I bought these two as a replacement for Nutra Effects Overnight Gel-Cream because Avon discontinued it. I thought the Ageless Overnight Gel version would be similar but it's not. I mean, it's not bad but I just really liked the Nutra Effects. This Ageless one has small beads that should dissolve when applied but they don't really and they just sit on your face. The day cream was too oily for me somehow and it also contained those beads. I didn't like it on my face so I used it up on my legs.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream
This is the cream that managed to replace Avon's Nutra Effects Gel-Cream. It's a gel that feels very lightweight on the face, it's a bit cooling and it moisturized my skin well. It's also suitable for sensitive skin because it's fragrance-free. I buy it when it's on sale and I already have two backups.

Avon Care Sun+ Anti-Aging Face Cream SPF50
I remember liking this one because it's not as heavy as some face sunscreens can be but compared to A'Pieu or Garnier's Ambre Solaire this is terrible. It's definitely not for everyday wear because it's too heavy.

Mixa Cica-Cream
One of my all-time favourites, I already almost used up the second tube. It's a thicker cream that nourishes and heals the skin. It's perfect for any dry patches, also for AD or for healing scars.

Avon Anew Vitamin C Radiance Maximising Serum
This is Avon's version of vitamin C serum. I tried using it on my face but it was too drying and I didn't like the strong scent, so I started to use it on my arms. I had some pigmentations because I scratched my keratosis pilaris bumps and I wanted to test if it would lighten them. I started to use it every other night at the end of August but I'm not sure how well it worked. They did fade but it's probably because I have lost my tan and not because of the serum. Maybe it did help a little but I can't say for sure.

Thank you for reading!
