Avon True Color Perfect Reds Lipstick in Lava Love

Everyone lately has been raving about Avon's lipstick. I never paid much attention to them, because I'm not really the biggest lipstick fan. Then Avon came out with Perfect Reds line and they kindly sent me two products, I already have a nail polish review here). the other one was this lipstick. Like I said I'm not the biggest lipstick fan, if I wear a lipstick it's normally a nude shade, so this was something new for me. I just find that red doesn't suit me.

True Color Perfect Reds Lipstick comes in a nice rounded rectangular shaped packaging with Avon writing on it. It is black, on the bottom has a sticker with a shade of the lipstick, and on the top is a clear plastic, so you can see which lipstick is inside. The packaging contains 10ml of products and it normaly costs around 6€.

Lava Love is a bright red shade with some orange tones. On my lips, it looks a bit more orange. I used it without a lipliner and I was really impressed that it didn't bleed or smudge. The formula is great, very creamy and it applies smooth. It has a decent pigmentation and the finish is shiny. It doesn't dry out my lips and it is also really comfortable to wear on the lips. I can't say a lot about how long it lasts, I mostly had it on for around two hours and only then it started to dissapear from my lips quite evenly.

Now I know why everybody is raving about Avon's lipstick. I must say, I adore the packaging, especially that clear plastic lid, it is easier to store and find the shade I'm looking for. I really like the formula too, it's very comfortable to wear, so I'm already thinking of buying some matte ones, I just hope they add more nude shades to their matte collection.
