New In #38

Another New In post. This time some new makeup releases, some repurchases as always and some skincare stuff.

Essence Studio Nails Nail Cuticle Remover Pen
This was 50% off and I already had it a few years back. I remembered that I liked it, so I just bought it. It's great to push back the cuticles.

Catrice Dewy-ful Lips Conditioning Lip Butter 020 Let's Dew This! and 040 Dew You Care?
I talked about this formula a lot on my blog, I also made a full review. These are being discontinued so I grabbed myself a backup of my shade and also a new shade, this time a more pink-ish shade.

Catrice Eyebrow Set 010
I got this as a replacement for the big L.O.V brow palette. I really liked that one, especially the darker shade for eyebrows. I almost used it up and I needed something new, so after some research, I bought this one. It doesn't look as orange-based in the pan but when I apply it it's too warm-toned. It was almost 5€, so I'm disappointed. I did want to get the new Catrice brow palette, but that one is over 7€ and in the end, I would only use one shade. Considering how freaking small those pans are, I rather decided on this palette with two bigger shades.

Catrice Tenderlash LE 3D False Fashes*
These lashes are part of the new LE from Catrice, called Tenderlash and they look amazing. I will save them for when I will have more time or for a special occasion.

Catrice Poreless Perfection Mousse Foundation 010 Neutral Nude*
For now, I just tried this once. It has a very thick texture, you have to push hard to get the foundation out of the packaging. It blends harder, especially with a makeup sponge, I think fingers are the best choice when applying it. I did like it but I need to test it more.

Catrice Instant Awake Concealer 005 Neutral Light*
This concealer was such a nice surprise, it's amazing. Lately, I use it more than my favourite Bourjois one. It has a light texture and it blends like a dream. The shade is perfect for me now. The coverage is light or maybe light to medium.

Catrice Tenderlash LE Liquid Liner C02 Prismatic*
This product is also part of the Lenderlash LE. It's a very liquidy formula and it needs time to set. I find it doesn't last so long, it starts to smudge a bit and it definitely won't stay intact during a workout. Also, the shimmer sometimes goes all over the eyes.

Catrice Hydro Plumping Serum*
This is one of the products that were high on my WL. I tried it a couple of times but I don't know what I think about it yet. I need more time, but there will be a review of all of these new Catrice products.

Ingrid Cosmetics Lip Gloss Colour & Shine 301 and Nail Polish 128*
Slovenian website, called Lepotna Polička offered to sent me some products to try. I only tried the nail polish. I'm not sure how I feel about the colour, I don't think I have ever worn a strong pink shade like this on my nails. Especially since in the last few weeks, I have only worn red and nude. The formula is okay, it is that gel-like formula, easy to apply and very shinny.

Rimmel Scandaleyes Volume on Demand Mascara*
This mascara will have to wait for its turn because I'm currently testing another one. I heard it's good though and I'm excited to try it.

Rimmel Exaggerate Waterproof Defliner 26 Noir*
I like the idea of having a lip liner and something to smudge it built into it. This one is perfect for the lower lash outer corner shadowing. I like to do that because it gives more dimension to my eyes. That's why I would love to try the brown version, black looks too harsh for my taste. I tried it as a "normal" eyeliner and I don't like it, it feels stiff, but I generally prefer liquid eyeliners.

Rimmel Wonder'Swipe 2-in-1 Liner to Shadow 05 Yassss*
I still need to test this one. The shade is pretty, like an iridescent pink.

Oriflame Wild Blueberry Shower Cream and Multi-Purpose Cream*
This was a blogger mail from Oriflame, they are always so lovely and they always send the best smelling products. This time we got two products from Wild Blueberry line, shower cream and a multi-purpose cream. I didn't try the multi-purpose cream yet but the shower cream is nice, it has a creamy texture and smells like frosted blueberries.

Annemarie Börlind LL Regeneration Revitalizing Blossom Dew Gel
I already raved about this in my 2019 favourites. I am almost done with my old one, so I ordered a backup. I really enjoy using it. As I said in my favourites, my skin just likes it and it looks better when I use it.

Avon Clear Skin Pore & Shine Control Black Mineral Mask
Another repurchase. This mask is easy to use, you just squeeze it and apply it to the face. The mask was also in my 2019 favourites.

Bourjois Twist Up The Volume Mascara
And another repurchase. I got sent this mascara from Notino but I liked it so much that I ordered another one.

Balea Erfrishendes Waschgel and Med Ultra Sensitive Waschgel
I was running low on my favourite cleansing gel from Balea and as I couldn't find it anywhere, I got the Med Ultra Sensitive version which I didn't try yet. Then I was in Austria and I decided to make stock if these are maybe being discontinued. I intended to get three, but then when I saw this are less than 1€ there and I got five. So, these should last me a while. They are not just for me, my brother uses the gel too. I discovered they changed the packaging but the ingredients are the same.

Clay Ritual Clay Facial Mask
A standard for a few years now. It's now in Lidl as part of the Lojtr'ca Domačih (it's a line of Slovenian products to support some small businesses).

Skin Fairytale Shampoo for Sensitive Scalp
A few months ago I stopped taking contraceptive pills and my hair completely changed for a while. It got greasy fast, I got a lot of dandruff and my scalp itched like crazy sometimes. I was searching for some good shampoos and as far as I could understand, they all really dry out the hair. I then come across this Skin Fairytale one, this is a natural Slovenian brand. This one also contains some nourishing ingredients. I tested it twice and I like it, my hair feels just like it feels when I use my beloved L'Oreal or something similar. Plus it helps with dandruff, even after one wash, it was a whole lot better. But I still need to test it fully. It was 15€ but I don't regret buying it.

Skin Fairytale AtopicBalm
I guess I also have atopic dermatitis now. I was at a dermatologist and even without properly looking, she said it's AD and that it would be worse in autumn/winter/spring and prescribed me some cream that I don't use because I heard it's bad for the skin. I still needed something. For a few months, I have seen people raving about this cream from Skin Fairytale, not only this one but also some other versions. I have been using it for a few weeks now and it did get better. I still have bad days when my skin is more irritated but I'm satisfied with the cream.

Balea Urea Handcreme
Mateja said this cream was great, so I got it. I think it's even under 2€, so a bargain. Just when I got it my dad asked me if I have a hand cream that is not greasy and that sinks in quickly and I just gave him this one, I didn't think he would like any other because of the scent or the formula. He actually likes it and uses it regularly but I didn't get a chance to try it yet.

Avon Her Story Eau de Parfum*
I didn't open the fragrance yet, I have only smelled it in Avon's catalog. At this point, I have too many fragrances and in the end, I only wore one or two regularly, so I decided to be selective. I like the scent of Her Story but I'm yet to decide if I will keep it.

Top notes: Bergamot, Peach Blossom, Bourbon Pepper.
Middle notes: Immortelle, Rose, Iris.
Base notes: Patchouli, Vetiver, Benzoin.

Avon Euphoric Volume & Length Mascara*
Again, too many mascaras to test, I can't keep up.

Avon Perfectly Matte Lipstick Ruby Kiss*
Avon's matte lipsticks are one of the best. They have nice packaging, I think this one is a new one, or LE or something. One thing that I like the most about them is how sweet their scent is, you just know it's from Avon. The formula is also amazing, creamy, matte and it doesn't dry the lips out like some liquid matte lipsticks.

Oriflame Eclat Amour/Toujours*
Another package from Oriflame. I got Eclat Amour (for her) and Eclat Toujours (for him) fragrances. I love the Eclat Amour, it's a very delicate and powdery scent, perfect for spring. The main notes are white violet, white orris and cedarwood. Eclat Toujours is not so up my alley. It's not a "classic" men's scent, it's got some kickback. Main notes are cuir corroye leather, mint and oris.

Thank you for reading!
