Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer 01 Ivory

Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer 01 Ivory

I finally gave in and bought the famous Radiance Reveal Concealer from Bourjois. I have heard only good things about it and I needed to try it. Radiance Reveal Concealer comes in a square packaging that is the same as by their Rouge Edition Velvet Lipsticks and Sation Edition Eyeshadows. I actually really like that these are all the same. The packaging contains 7,8ml of product and it costs around 9€. For example, Essence and Catrice concealers contain 5ml for around 3,5-4,5€, so it's not that expensive for the amount you get.

The applicator is small and soft. The stopper works great, you get the perfect amount on the applicator and I don't need to dip again for more product.

I got the lightest shade there is, called 01 Ivory. There are only three shades to chose from. I normally don't go for the lightest but the second one looked very dark. I don't know if I imagine it but I feel like it's darker when I apply it and when I try to blend it gets lighter and brighter. It really gives that luminous brightness to the face.

Most of the days, the concealer blends nicely but when my skin is on a drier side I do need some more time blending it. The coverage is light to medium, it won't cover everything but I don't mind that because it gives a very nice brightening effect under my eyes. Lately, when in a hurry, I apply it all over the face, add some powder and I'm finished with my base. The concealer never looks cakey under my eyes. I tested it in this hot summer we are having and I feel it doesn't settle into the fine lines as much as some of my other concealers.

I love the concealer, I heard only good things about it and I'm glad I bought it. It's not as high coverage like some of my other concealers but I love the brightening effect that it gives under my eyes and that it looks natural. I wouldn't use it for imperfections though. It contains hyaluronic acid and it should be hydrating and I did notice that it generally makes my under eyes looking nicer. I would definitely recommend.

Thank you for reading!
