Empties #14

Balea Born to be Lazy Body Lotion
I quite enjoyed using this body lotion. It's a basic Balea body lotion, nothing overly nourishing, but the scent was nice and sweet. I like the bottle of these lotions, they are easy to use and in the end, I can just cut it and get every ounce of product out. I have a review of some Born to be Lazy products here.

The Body Shop Frosted Plum Body Butter
This had such a nice holiday scent. The texture is quite thick and very nourishing. I saved it so much because I loved the scent, but now it's empty. Review here.

Essence Superlast Eyeliner Deep Black
I reviewed this one here. After I got used to it, it was really easy to use. It didn't bleed, smudge or fade. The colour was just how I like it, very black. Also, I never had problems with pigmentation, not even in the last few weeks, I just don't want to use it anymore since it's quite old now.

Essence Keep it Perfect! Makeup Fixing Spray
I already removed the label off of this spray, because the bottle it's great for travelling, to put your setting spray in since it's small, or maybe even for hairspray. I like the spray, it takes away that powdery finish on my skin, but I wouldn't say it makes my makeup last longer. More here.

Avon Mega Effects Creamy Eyeshadow Yellow Gold
I got this eyeshadow on a blogger event and I was absolutely sure I got a bad one. It's very thick, not pigmented and it smells awful. Now when I have been searching for the name of this, I noticed Petra made a review on some of these eyeshadows and I'm not so sure anymore. She said it's only the top layer that's hard, so I tried scraping it off and it really is better now. But it's still quite hard and the scent is bad, so I will probably throw it away anyway.

Essence Mattifying Compact Powder
A favourite for years. It applies nice, it gives a bit more coverage, it doesn't look dry or cakey and it's cheap (around 3,50€). Now there is a slightly different packaging.

Oriflame The One Moisture Gel
This was so good. It's for your cuticles and nails. It nourished my cuticles and made them look presentable in the winter time. It has a gel texture, it's not greasy at all. I love that it comes in a nail polish bottle with a brush, so it's super easy to use.

Avon Mesmerize Black Sample
If I remember correctly, I didn't like this much at first, but when I smelled it a couple of times, I did change my mind. I don't remember anymore how exactly it smelled, but I do know it was very sweet.

Balea Born to be Lazy Duschgel
Again, a review here. A sweet scent that I got bored of quickly, but it was lovely to use. In the end, I ended up using it as hand soap and it was okay.

Oriflame Floral Embrace Shower Gel
This shower gel I got recently from Oriflame. I wasn't too keen on the flowery scent, so we used it as hand soap and the scent actually grew on me. The consistency is nice, not to thick, not too runny. I love the bottle, I'm saving it, not sure for what, but I can't just throw it away.

Balea Aqua Wasser Spray and Uriage Eau Thermale Water Serum
All of these are lifesavers in summer months, they feel nice and cooling on the skin. I also use them to moisturize my clay mask so it doesn't get dry on my face. I only have one more water spray left, I need to stock up. With Balea you actually get a few different versions, a classic one, coconut one and a melon one, maybe even more.

Essentiq Olive & Rosehip Natural Face Scrub
I liked this face scrub. It was just enough rough for my taste. The scent was a bit herbal, but I didn't mind it. Also, the packaging is nice, you can control how much product you get out and it's sanitary.

Avon Nutra Effects Refreshing Gel Cleanser
It was nice, but if I compare it to my favourite one from Balea, Balea's is much better. This one is a thicker gel, doesn't foam much, it has a fairly neutral scent and it's not the best at removing makeup. I actually put this product in my Products I Want to Use Up but I forgot about it (that's how crazy my life has been these couple of weeks/months), so if I do an update on the project at the end of the year, you will see it there too.

Malinca Clay Mask
I love clay masks. I use them once a week, usually on a weekend and they do a good job at cleansing my face. I do notice a big difference, my skin looks a bit brighter and a whole lot healthier and cleaner after I use a clay mask, especially if I use it regularly. I already bought two more but from a different brand. Review of the Malinca one is here.

Balea Aqua Feuchtigkeits Serum
My favourite serum ever. Here is more about it. I heard this whole Aqua line by Balea is being renewed, I just hope the ingredients stay the same. I'm not sure, but my blogger friends said that you can't get these products in DM anymore, luckily I still have two of the serums left, but I'm running low on the Aqua gel. I just hope they bring them back quickly.

The Body Shop Intensely Revitalising Cream
It has been some time since I used this but as far as I remember I liked it, it felt rich and nourishing but not greasy. I really want to try another sample to be sure and later maybe even the big packaging.

Essence Instant Volume Boost Mascara
I really liked this mascara. When I used it before I never had problems with it, but now when I tried it on these hot days we have recently, I did notice it can smudge just a bit on my upper lid, but it's not really visible at least you look closely. The effect was nice, first coat gave a natural look, the second gave fullness to the lashes. Here is a picture how it looks like on my lashes.

Essence I Love Extreme Volume Mascara Waterproof
Probably my favourite mascara ever. I talked about it so much on my blog and repurchased it a couple of times, here is a review. I just hope Essence doesn't discontinue it like they have a habit to do with a lot of good products. It's an amazing mascara, with a few swipes the lashes get longer, thicker, volumized, I just love it. Plus, it has never ever smudge on me, it doesn't crumble and so on. I really recommend this one.

Paese Mascara
This mascara is quite expensive, or should I say too expensive for what it does. I like the effect, it's more on a natural side, which you can get with most of the Essence and Catrice mascaras, so it's definitely not worth 18€. I can get much better results if I buy Maybelline or L'Oreal mascaras and they cost half the price of this one.

Thank you for reading!
